2010 Season

'B' Games  - B Team games are designated "extra" games for Jr Pee Wee and Pee Wee players that do not get playing time in regular scheduled games.
Not all TVFC towns will  be available for B games, so the schedule will be different from the regular schedule.
The B schedule is affected by the regular league schedule and game dates are subject to change due to rain outs, make up games, and availability of fields.
A minimum 8 game schedule will be played.

Sunday Games will begin at 10:30AM with the Jr Pee Wee, immediately followed by the Pee Wee team, JV(light team), and Varsity(heavy team)
Game Times are approximately 1 hr 20 min and could be longer or shorter depending on the game. After the first game we can only estimate the following game times for Sundays.

Saturday Games
Jr Pee Wee games will be Saturday mornings at 9:00AM.
If we are playing 2 morning games we will start at 8:45AM

Night games will begin at 5:30PM with the Pee Wee, immediately followed by the JV(light team) and Varsity(heavy team)
Game Times are approximately 1 hr 20 min and could be longer or shorter depending on the game. After the first game on Saturday night we can only estimate the following game times.

JV(light team)  6:50PM (estimated time)
Varsity(heavy)  8:10PM (estimated time)

Why don't the Jr Pee Wee's play Saturday at night?
Referees work high school games an Friday nights and Saturdays at 1:00PM.  They cannot guarantee an earlier start time than 5:30PM on Saturday night.  Playing 4 games on Saturday night will keep players there until 11:PM or later.  So the Jr Pee Wee team plays Saturday morning.

Practices - Practices through August will be Monday-Friday from 6:00PM-8:15PM unless changes by the coaching staff.
The practice schedule for each age will be adjusted when school begins and will be set by the coach for each team.

Canceled Practice - You will be notified if practice is canceled.  Practice will only be canceled if there is a safety issue, problem with the field, or if there is a league matter.

1) ALWAYS SHOW UP AT THE FIELD UNLESS YOU ARE NOTIFIED THAT WE DO NOT HAVE PRACTICE.

2) WE WILL PLAY IN THE RAIN. THE COACHING STAFF WILL DETERMINE IF CONDITIONS ARE UNSAFE TO PLAY.

3) DO NOT ASSUME PRACTICE IS CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER. SOMETIMES WE WORK IN THE FIELD HOUSE.

4) DO NOT CALL TO FIND OUT IF PRACTICE IS CANCELED. UNLESS WE CALL YOU, SHOW UP FOR PRACTICE!

Equipment - The equipment issued to each player belongs to Clifton Jr. Football.  It is not to be used or worn anywhere except at Clifton Jr. Football practice or games. It must be returned clean and  in good condition at the end of the season. See the registration form for detail on responsibility for equipment.
Equipment will be given out in August. Players will be told when they are scheduled to get equipment.
Equipment will be given out at the convenience of the coaching staff.
